I manage the design staff, specifically the “finish” designers, and I work on projects from beginning to end. I review fabric schemes, submittals and drawings, just to name a few. I work with our team and clients to manage workload and deadline scheduling and review all in-house quality control sets for all projects.

I really enjoy working on concepts for new projects – it is exciting to have a fresh project with new ideas, finishes and color palettes to sink my teeth into. It’s fun to explore new products on the market and pair them together to create a space with pattern, color and furniture.

What are you particular about? At work, it makes me crazy to see fabrics in the wrong drawer, or text style changing from one type to another in our CAD drawings. At home, I have to make up the bed every day. I also like clothes, and even pillowcases, to be wrinkle-free!

Coolest place you’ve ever been? Italy – the Pantheon, the Roman ruins, Florence. The Uffizi, which is home to so many famous works of art. St. Mark’s Square and Doge’s Palace in Venice. It is astounding that these places were erected and home to so many for thousands of years, and they were built without the use of modern tools and construction techniques!

If I wasn’t in interior design, I would be… a textile designer or a landscape designer.
